Every  girls closet need a little black dress, mine just happens to have a few. This casual LBD is seriously the comfiest one I own. I wore it here with a pair of heels but I’ll definitely be dressing it down with sandals this summer.  And what do I do when I find an item of clothing I like? Buy it in another color. I also purchased this dress in grey. It’s too good to pass up for the $15 price tag.

With wedding season quickly approaching I’ve found myself on a never ending search for dresses. This dress was a great find from Nordstrom Rack.  The fit and flare silhouette is definitely amongst my favorites.  I plan to wear this dress for an upcoming bridal shower or wedding.  The subtle blue stripes obviously called for pairing with my cobalt blue suede heels.   Unfortunately it is no longer available but I have linked some similar options below.

Im constantly pushing myself to buy clothes in color schemes that my closet is lacking. Regardless of those efforts I always gravitate toward cobalt blue. It’s my color crush for sure. The color of this skirt combined with the shape made this purchase a no-brainer. I obviously need to go purchase the other colors, I owe it to my closet!

When I’m not working you can usually find me doing one of three things…working out, shopping or eating.  On the weekends I get to throw one more hobby into the mix…sleeping late!  This often leads to a delayed workout followed by the rush to get ready for brunch and shopping dates. Although I’d love to shower and spend an hour getting ready (ha, yea right) my heart yearns for brunch after my workout and food is a priority in my ‘I live to eat’ lifestyle.  The easiest way to transition my workout attire is starting with basic black leggings that’ll work for both outfits. The rest is an easy switch. And I won’t leave out the hair dilemma. I found my hair a reliable bestie…Psssst! Instant dry shampoo.  It works wonders for refreshing my hair and adding some instant volume.

I’m sure I’m not the only New Yorker that is overly excited about the warm weather that graced us this past weekend. What better way to celebrate than with my beloved hot pink bag! I paired this with the softest light pink button up. I refuse to wear button ups to work as I find them so uncomfortable and restricting but this one is just the opposite. This shirt is flowy and soft as ever, plus it comes in several different colors. I’m not sure which I’ll buy next, if not all of them…eeks.
